Senior Project Development Manager (m/f/d) Wind and Solar
In our Project & Business Development teams we concentrate our know-how for exciting established and future international markets as well as future opportunities in the field of renewable energies. With a direct line to the Executive Board, you can further develop business areas and realize projects that have a relevant influence on ABO Wind's business and contribute significantly to its success.
Your passion
- You manage wind and solar projects in South Africa from site acquisition, planning, engineering and permitting to construction
- You support the project team during auctions and sales processes
- You identify new project sites and negotiate lease agreements with landowners
- You check network access options and evaluate them from a technical, legal and commercial perspective
- You commission and coordinate external service providers and local partners
- You support business development and networking
- You manage due diligence processes during the project acquisition phase
Your qualification
- You have a degree in environmental sciences, engineering, geography or similar
- You have at least five years of professional experience
- You have professional experience with the development of renewable energy projects in South Africa
- You are experienced in project management
- You speak fluent English
- You are a skilled and confident negotiator
- You think like an entrepreneur
- Your working method is action-oriented and effective
- You are willing to travel regularly
